Tetra Pak CPS has been fabricating in stainless steel for over 60 years. Located in Sherborne, Dorset, the current facility was built in 1998, where Tetra Pak CPS is able to manufacture a wide range of equipment for various sectors of the process industry.

Tetra Pak CPS Capabilities

Tetra Pak CPS has the depth and breadth of experience and expertise in the design and manufacture of stainless steel process and storage vessels and is able to offer capacities up to 100,000 litres although the majority are in the 100 to 30,000 litres range. A variety of features include agitation, heating/cooling systems, sterile air top blanket systems and hazardous environment working conditions.

A complete range of vessel types is available:

  • Single skin
  • Jacketted for heating and/or cooling (e.g. dimple or plain)
  • Insulated
  • Clad (e.g. fully welded stainless steel, rivetted, plastic coated steel)
  • Agitated (e.g. turbine, impellor, gate, high shear)

For pressure/vacuum applications, vessels can be built to the British Standard Code of Practice (PD5500), which ensures they comply with the latest European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).

Various surface finishes can be produced between 2B and ‘mirror’ to suit customer’s requirements and Tetra Pak CPS are also able to fabricate in several grades of stainless steel from 304 and 316 through to more exotic types such as 254SMO and 2205.

The quality of Tetra Pak CPS stainless steel vessels is renowned and they can now be found in such diverse industries as tobacco, pharmaceutical, fine chemical, aerosol, personal care and cosmetic in addition to the dairy, food and beverage industries upon which the company was founded.

Tetra Pak CPS offers a complete in-house design, including 3D CAD engineering and our Engineering staff works closely with our clients to ensure requirements are fully satisfied.

This overall capability is backed by our Quality Assurance System. Tetra Pak CPS implemented QA over 15 years ago and today is fully accredited under ISO 9001:2000 for the design and manufacture of stainless steel equipment and process systems.
