CPS Adopts Flexible Approach for Reflex Nutrition
10th January 2008
CPS has supplied one of the UK's leading producers of sports nutrition supplements with top quality pasteurising equipment to produce an exciting new product.
Reflex Nutrition Ltd, whose customers include Harrods, GNC and Virgin Active, required precise engineering for its new whey protein drink 'Reflex Whey Refresh'. The drink is the first of its type to be produced in the UK, and accuracy in the production process is essential.
Reflex was confident that CPS, with over 80 years of experience in pasteurisation, could meticulously project engineer the entire production line for the company's latest product.
Expertise and a high level of flexibility won the order for CPS, who supplied Reflex with a high efficient skid mounted pasteuriser and other associated equipment for its new factory line to process the drinks, which are being produced at approximately 50 x 500ml bottles per minute.
Having already purchased various equipment including a drinks bottler and bottle sleever, Reflex then turned to CPS to integrate the whole system.
Alongside this CPS was contracted to install all the services to the plant. In addition to the process requirements, the entire system was designed with a total Cleaning-In-Place solution.
Managing Director of Reflex, James Phillips was thoroughly impressed with the level of professionalism and depth of knowledge shown by CPS. He said: "CPS was chosen based on its reputation for quality, experience and level of service. We were unable to find anyone else with the specific technology at the standard we required in the UK."
Commenting on the equipment and service Mr Phillips said: "The flexibility and quality of the equipment is superb and the number of options that were made available to us was remarkable. The entire project ran smoothly and the whole operation is working well helping us to exceed our monthly sales targets."
He concluded: "CPS has exceeded our expectations; the entire line is working fantastically. I think of CPS as a company able to supply German type quality engineering from the UK."
